Spent the day demonstrating at the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, KY. They don't have a potter's wheel there, and it's A LOT of work to take that whole set up... water buckets, wedge board, scrap clay buckets, etc., so I took a number of leather hard pieces. French Potter Visits and Studies with Melvin Rowe
Maelenn Le Chinche of Antibes, France is in Kentucky for about 10 days and is studying ceramics under me for that period of time. Maelenn has a degree in ceramics from DMA Ceramique Antibes. The BIG Move
After owning a retail store/studio combination for 30 years, 26 of those on Louisville's historic Frankfort Avenue, I sold the Frankfort Avenue property and closed the retail store. I moved the studio to my horse farm in Henry County in the Bluegrass region on Kentucky. I had the studio built and the move, building, and setting up prevented me from working in clay for about 4 weeks. So I'm running a bit behind.
