Save Vivian's Sight
On Friday, September 9th, Vivian was helping her husband load their truck when a bungee cord she was attaching slipped and struck her in the eye. It caused a traumatic dislocated lense that will require vitrectomy surgery. Surgeons may find damage to the retina, which will require Endo Lazer Lensectomy.
These procedures will cost $25,000.00 - $50,000.00. These costs do not include the emergency room visit and doctor's office visits prior to surgery.
Vivian was a building manager of three of the historic iron-front buildings on Louisville's historic Main St. She lost her job of 10 years to downsizing. Both her and her husband had their health insurance through her job.
